The Maryland Chapter of the Women Writers United is formed to support  and educate local women writers in the metropolitan region to achieve their writing goals. Our goal and our hope is to provide events, programs, and learning platforms from which our members will horn their writing skills and eventually get their work published.

• Support Women Writers United, its members, and all it offers

• Share in the expertise of professional women writers

• Respect all genres and types of professional writing

• Attend monthly members meetings to advance group and invite new member

• Increase our membership and offer support to non-local members

• Encourage participation from members as speakers, mentors, and volunteers

• Support, educate, and encourage members to pursue their writing

• Help members in reaching their professional goals as writers

• Build a solid support group

• Enjoy each others ideas, share in dreams, and have fun doing it!
