Christal
J. Lambert

Founding Member
Christal was born in the District of Columbia and
raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. At a
young age, her natural gifts and talent in the arts,
sprang forth in her drawings, lettering, and in her creative writing . Over the years, she has drawn
from life experiences and developed a love for writing
from the heart. She is a regional manager for several
chain stores and enjoys drawing and writing in her spare time.
Christal's
poem, A Tribute - dedicated to her late uncle,
James Robert Hackley, Jr., was chosen as the first article
to be published via
Women Writers United in 2007.
She aspires to get her
first book of poetry published in 2008 and hopes to
design a series of greeting cards. Not only is she an aspiring author,
but also a founding member [serving
as the Graphic Artist representative]
of
Women Writers United
(WWU), a support group comprised of professional and
novice writers who unite to share and enhance their
writing skills. As she writes,
hopes her words will encourage other young women.
